Among the new initiatives promoting the Fair, was the participation of Acimall in the Salone del Mobile in Milan in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the association and the 25th anniversary of Xylexpo. But above all, it emphasized the opening of a dialogue with a new audience from the world of design and that of creativity. “For the second time, the event will show our determination and that of our partners to move ahead with the aim of achieving our goals and winning, despite the challenges. But we will only achieve that if we stick together, “said Lorenzo Primultini, President of Acimall, last February at the press conference at the UniCredit Pavilion in Milan. This determination to form a team was also expressed by Andrea Mattiello, from the ICE; Corrado Peraboni and Paolo Borgio, manager, and “guest exhibition master” at FieraMilano, respectively; and Dario Corbetta, Director at Acimall, among others. The messages which are clear and powerful achieve the goal of involving the most representative members of the media industry which came from different countries to Milan, and who considered the future of the bi-annual exhibition. Even Lorenzo Primultini, President of Acimall, was convinced that the next fair will represent a big step in the history of its success: “We have made every effort to create a major event and an excellent place for reviewing the most innovative technology.” The 25 years history of Xylexpo was the starting point of the speech of Andrea Mattielo’s from ICE (Agency for Foreign Trade) as well as the promotion of international trade and globalization for Italian companies, a result of collaboration between the agency and the Italian wood technology manufacturers. This association includes Xylexpo among the 30 international trade exhibitions dedicated to the Italian industry. As Mattiello said, “This action has resulted in a number of initiatives, such as press meetings with the leading industry exhibitions, combined with a campaign in magazines and web portals sector worldwide”.
